Performance Space previews CIVIC LIFE at Carriageworks

Joe Lawlor will be presenting a special preview of the CIVIC LIFE films, which includes TIONG BAHRU, as part of Performance Space’s CLUBHOUSE sessions at Carriageworks in Redfern this Thursday.

The screening includes the very first film of the series, WHO KILLED BROWN OWL, as well as Prix UIP Rotterdam- winning JOY. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Joe and is supported by the British Council.

CLUBHOUSE is Performance Space’s programme for critical dialogue, creative exchange, conversation and revelation about interdisciplinary arts. It houses an extended program of projects and events around Performance Space’s seasons, including participatory art projects, screenings, forums and workshops lead by local, international, emerging and established artists.

CLUBHOUSE presents CIVIC LIFE on Thursday, 9th June at 7.30pm at Carriageworks, Track 8. Admission is free.
